For Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, who arrived at election day wearing a Wu-Tang Clan shirt, votes rule everything around her.
Somehow, the legendary rap collective managed to influence an arena even as left-field as “Election Day.”
However, if you look at the image captured earlier today (below), you’ll notice the famous yellow ‘W’ is inscribed with “Wendy Davis” and not the original “Wu-Tang Clan” catchphrase. Cultural appropriation at its finest, considering she even had her loyal voters throwing up the ‘W.’
Sorry Miss Davis, but as aptly stated, Wu-Tang already owns that.
